It is about knowing the symphony of the system so well that a single instrument out of tune jars the entire hall.
Henry’s tradition is not one of repair, but of pre-repair. It is the tradition of the preemptive listener. The broken stair is not his failure; the unnoticed progression towards that break would be. He taught me that the most critical component in any observability stack is not the dashboard, but the cultivated memory of what ‘right’ sounds like.
